How can I get the upgrade for the yes/no app for iPad?
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4009
You must already have the yes/no app. There are two ways. Turn the yes/no app on and use it for a minute or so then turn it off. When you turn it back on you may see a window that pops up askig if you want to updrade for 2.99. If this does not happen then look at your ipads main screen. There should be a number in red. Click on that and it will ask you which apps you want to upgrade. Most will say free. Yes/no will say 2.99 and you will have to enter your itunes password. It should just take a minute or so to load.
Good lucck
Can’seem to fine “pocket fish pond” help?
In itunes..go to store and type in pocket pond. It will give you the choices for ipod and ipad. Hope this helps
Sono Flex Lite is FREE at the itunes apple store.
Tobii Sono Flex meets the goals of preliterate AAC users with limited or no literacy skills; it promotes interaction and long-term language and communication development while helping to encourage the regular and continual use of a communication aid. It allows for quick wins and successful interaction based on pre-made situational vocabulary subsets, which require little learning effort. At the same time Sono Flex fosters vocabulary development through the use of scaffolding structures. This lays the framework for successful conversation in unanticipated situations. The powerful combination of structure and flexibility is achieved by a well-selected core vocabulary in logical categories and a unique linking system into over 50 pre-made topic-boards.
What kind of ipad are being used? How many gb are needed?
Either version of the ipad works just fine – as far as the GB, it depends on how many apps you plan on using/running, a couple of the moms I asked seem to be using the 16GB.
Any ipad can be used for education, communication or entertainment. There are tons of apps that can be used with either the ipad or the ipad 2 and the basic 16 GB one gives you plenty of room for lots of apps, pictures, songs and some videos.
In the video “lower hand function” the little girl is playing the five little monkeys from the website helpkidzlearn, does anyone know how she is accessing it on her iPad? I found the website, but it says I need flash which is not supported on the iPad. Any help would be great, I’m sure I’m missing something simple.
Let me reach out to that mom and get back with you.
Suzanne, The mom said that this video was taken a few years ago and they had actually connected the ipad to the computer and were able to some how get the website onto the ipad. However, now there is an app that will let you play any flash games on your iPad. It’s called iswifter. You open the app and and go to the website using the browser in the app. Hope that helps!
if only all blogs were this amazing
Thank you!!!
