Communication Visual Aid Apron

Submitted by: Kelly Butler

My daughter’s preschool staff (teacher, aides, volunteers) all wear these communication aprons. It is a great way for our girls to ALWAYS have the opportunity to communicate basic needs. For example – right now we are working on potty training so the BoardMaker symbol for potty is on all of their aprons to give her the opportunity to let them know she needs to go. The aprons have pockets too where the staff is able to keep dozens of pictures for choices. If you can introduce your school staff to this, you will not be disappointed.
